Our Model Audit Team’s international experience covers the Middle East, Europe and North and South America, including Canada and recently Bermuda. We list below projects on which BDO staff have led model audit assignments. Nick Coates, our modelling project manager, has long experience of power, water, and LNG projects in the Middle East, the UK and elsewhere, having previously specialised in energy sector model reviews at PWC.

Taweelah A1 Power and Desalination Plant, Abu Dhabi, UAE: This independent water and power project (IWPP) has a power capacity of 1,430 MW and desalination capacity of 84 million imperial gallons/day (MIGD). We reported to Lead Arrangers BNP Paribas for the US$1.4bn Senior Debt financing.

Ras Laffan B1 Power and Desalination Plant, Qatar: An extension to this IWPP providing 376MW of power. 
Oman-flag
Salalah, Sultanate of Oman: An IWPP in the Dhofar Region providing 400MW of power and 15 MIGD of drinking water.

A12 Poort Van Bunnik, Netherlands: Review of all bid stages for constructor BAM of the model for this road project linking Utrecht Lunetten and Veenendaal, followed by reviews for the bank lenders club for €250m of the project loan and milestone bridge facilities.

Schiphol Airport Detention Centre, Netherlands: Review of all bid model stages for sponsor BAM for the construction of a new detention centre, and later to support project loans of €100m by the lenders club.

Fire Services PPP, Greece: Model review for bid stage and financial close for the design, build, financing and operation of six new fire agencies and stations, financed by a bond issue.

Canadian-flag
South Fraser Perimeter Road, Canada: Model review for the consortium building this road project connecting Vancouver and its port district, and for lenders to support long term funding of C$675m.
Bermuda-flag
King Edward VII Hospital Refurbishment, Bermuda: Review of the bid model for sponsor Sir Robert MacAlpine, and financial close model for lenders on their US$223m Senior Debt.
